Tai Chi – Qigong – Meditation Resume

  • 1989 Started the study of meditation when my father handed be a stack of books on various forms of philosophy and meditation.
  • 1998 – 2001 Studied the Cheng Man-ch’ing Yang Style Tai Chi from Terry Lee who was the senior Disciple of Ben Lo (a top disciple of Professor Cheng Man-ch’ing).
  • 2001 – 2004 Graduate of Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine with a Master’s in Acupuncture. For 4 years I studied Cheng Man-ch’ing Yang Style tai chi with Dr. Sean Marshall. After 4 years of training I received verbal permission to teach the form by Dr.Sean Marshall.
  • 2002 – 2009 Direct student of Master Fu Wei Zhong. Master Fu is the 13th lineage holder of the Emei Linji Chan lineage. He is well known throughout China for being a very high level qigong master and eminent acupuncturist and herbalist. Master Fu’s education started at the age of three by his uncle who was the physician to the Emperor.
    • 2002 Completed Level 1 training
    • 2002 Trained in the Emei 18 Step Taji Form.
    • 2003 I was called to teach sections and assist Master Fu in teaching other sections of level 1 seminar attended by 60 people in Greensboro, N C.
    • 2003 I assisted Master Fu in teaching a Emei tai chi Seminar in Boston, MA
    • 2003 I received direct verbal permission to teach Emei Level 1 Qi gong.
    • 2004 I received direct verbal permission to teach the Emei 18 step tai chi form.
    • 2004 Completed level 2 training.
    • 2005 Completed level 3 training.
  • 2004 – 2005 I taught Emei qigong at Wellspring Chiropractic & Acupuncture Center in Boone, NC.
  • 2005 – 2009 Studied the works of Eknath Easwaren, daily practice in the methods Eknath Easwaren teaches.
  • 2006 – 2009 Student of Master/Doctor Yong Zhou. Master Zhou teaches qigong and meditation. Master Zhou is a recognized Master of 3 qigong lineages including the Emei Linji Chan qigong lineage.
  • 2007 – 2012 Accepted as a student of Professor Ping Zhen Cheng. Ping is a highly regarded Professor of Buddhism and Chinese Medicine. Ping is also an extremely accomplished teacher of meditation, qigong and tai chi. Fine tune my skills in the area s of qigong, tai chi, meditation.
  • 2010 – Present I currently teach at my clinic Acupuncture Pain and Stress Center. I have taught classes in qigong, tai chi and meditation.
  • 2011 – Present Training and various seminars with Bon Buddhist Master, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
