Comprehensive, customized care

Whether you’re a weekend warrior or highly competitive athlete, you want the same thing: to get back to doing what you love. And while your goal may be the same, your treatment shouldn’t be. We’ll create a personalized plan to get you back on the court, the course, or to that CrossFit competition.

How does it work?

Initial Evaluation and Treatment

We’ll spend sixty minutes uncovering the underlying source of your pain and map out a tailored plan. So you can recover from your current injury and prevent recurrence in the future. Your treatment will include acupuncture, dry needling, & bodywork. After your first Sports Acupuncture Therapy session, you’ll walk away with:

Follow up sessions

You’ll begin to feel pain relief after your first session. During your follow ups, we’ll continue targeted treatment with acupuncture, dry needling, & bodywork. So you can return to and maintain your active lifestyle

Acupuncture & Dry Needling

Routine follow up: In this thirty minute treatment we’ll review your progress, adjust your course of treatment if needed, and work on your injury.

Dry Needling, & Bodywork

In addition to the routine follow up, we’ll do exercises and stretching. This forty-five minute treatment will give us plenty of time to introduce any new rehab needed.

Reevaluation, Acupuncture, Dry Needling, & Bodywork

This is ideal for existing clients with new injuries or complex cases. Sixty minutes will provide enough time to do a full evaluation where we’ll map out your new plan of action.

“I was almost ready to accept that I would continue living with my muscular dysfunction and pain forever, but I’m so glad I felt inspired to try James at Acupuncture Pain and Stress Center.

I’ve sought the help of numerous body workers (chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, Rolfing, dry needling and acupuncture), and while all have provided some temporary relief, none have found the root of the problem, until James.

The unique hybrid approach of dry needling and acupuncture that he has used on me over multiple sessions, combined with astute listening and problem solving skills, have led to narrowing in on the culprit muscles that have been stuck. Though I’m not 100% recovered, we are getting closer than ever to getting there!” –  Lisa Barrangou
