After every treatment the room is UV-C sterilized for 10 minutes, using a professional grade UV-C device. This is very similar to what Duke and the Mayo Clinic use to kill superbugs in the surgical suites. New York City is even using UVC to kill coronavirus on subways and busses.
All appointments are scheduled so that there is a gap between treatments. So you should not cross paths with any other patients.
Nobody is allowed to congregate in the waiting area. So if someone comes with you to your appointment, that you do not want in the treatment room, please have them wait in the car.
There are multiple hand sanitizer stations set up around the office for you to use.
Before every appointment, I use a CDC approved cleaner effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria & viruses including HIV-1, the AIDS Virus, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Influenza A Virus (H7N9), as well as respiratory viruses including Coronavirus, COVID-19, and SARS.
I follow CDC guidance on PPE, including wearing an N95 mask and gloves while treating all patients.
I ask all patients to wear masks. As long as your mask does not inhibit your breathing while getting treatment or get in the way, I ask that you keep it on the whole time.
